Maria Argyropoulou -EDIP of the Department of Tourism Administration with the subject of Image, Communication, Information, and Culture- is a degree in Sociology from Panteion University and a PhD in Education with the title of PhD Thesis transition from oral to written language “. He studied Iconography – at the National Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia – with professors Toma Verbanov & Asen Gitsov and Art Conservation with Professor Mladost Volkova. At the same time he is a graduate of PATES SELETE.
He taught for a number of years at the Ionian University. She has worked in positions of responsibility at the General Secretariat for Lifelong Learning, and as an adult educator. She was the Director of the Model Experimental High School of Patras.
He has authored two books on communication through image and participated in cultural heritage sections in two collective volumes. He has published articles in Greek and foreign language scientific journals and in conference proceedings with critics. She was awarded, together with her collaborators, with the “The EDEN 2015 Best Pactice Award” for the Conference Paper on Implementing Innovative Learning Methods: A Two Schools Example and as Innovative Teacher 2015 by the Hellenic-German Education. Finally, he was honored in 2015 as the person of the year by the Peloponnese newspaper in Science and Education.
