Born in 1969 in Athens. He graduated from the Varvakeio Model School. He is a graduate of the Mathematics Department of the University of Patras. He did postgraduate studies in applied mathematics and is a doctor of the Mathematics Department of the University of Patras in matters of optimization methods. He has taught tutoring courses at the Departments of Mathematics, Pharmacy and Geology of the University of Patras
He teaches in the interdepartmental Postgraduate Program “Mathematics of Computers and Decisions”, organized by the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics of the University of Patras. His research interests are: nonlinear programming, optimization of functions with / without constraints, training of neural networks, finding optimal Runge-Kutta methods, solving systems of nonlinear algebraic and transcendental equations. He is an Associate Professor of the department in the subject “Quantitative Methods in Business Administration”.
