Christos Livas is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Department of Business Administration of the University of Patras. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Piraeus and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Marketing from the Cardiff Business School, during which he was awarded the Sir Julian Hodgetn Academic Excellence Award.
Furthermore, he holds a Master’s Degree in Taxation from the ALBA Graduate Business School and a PhD in Advertising from the Department of Business Administration and Management of the University of Piraeus. He has taught courses in the field of marketing as a University Fellow at the University of Piraeus and as a member of SEP at the Hellenic Open University.
Also, in the past, he has taught in post-secondary educational institutions in Greece and Cyprus, has participated as a researcher in European Commission projects, has worked as a business consultant and has served in the Ministry of Finance. His published work includes articles in international peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. His current research interests focus on social advertising, advertising strategy, digital marketing communications and the integration of technology in higher education.
