Nikolaos Manesis works as an ODIHR. at the Department of Education and Social Work (Department of Pedagogy) of the University of Patras. His research focuses on topics related to teaching methodology, pedagogy, differentiated teaching, curricula, educational research methodology, educational policy, assessment, sociology of education, school-family relations, inequality in education , school and social exclusion, the role and training of teachers. He has participated in European Programs.

He has written teaching material for the University, the I.D.E.K.E. and Lifelong Learning Centers. He has published books (5), articles in international & Greek journals (25) and conference proceedings (35), on the above topics.
